Product Description
Roadmaster Baseplate Arm
Baseplates arms connect between the tow bar and the portion of the baseplate that is bolted to the towed car. When not towing, simply pull a key ring to unlatch and remove the baseplate arm from the vehicle. This keeps a clean, uncluttered appearance at the front of the towed vehicle.
Baseplates are custom designed for each vehicle. But whenever possible, Roadmaster creates new fits using a common baseplate arm, part number C002383. The majority of late model vehicles will utilize this common baseplate arm. To verify which baseplate arm is used on your vehicle, visit FitMaster. The part number for your vehicle's baseplate arms is found under 'Replacement Parts.'
The C002383 utilizes a stainless latching pin and pin sleeve. This helps prevent rust and corrosion and keeps it working smoothly. To use the arm, simply insert it into the baseplate receiver, rotate, and it will automatically lock in place. When done towing, pull the keyring and rotate the arm to remove it. It is that simple.
The C002383 is a single arm. It is interchangeable between the driver's side and passenger's side. Order two if replacing both arms.
