Protect Your Towed Vehicle and RV Against Dings and Rock Chips.
The Guardian is crafted from rotationally-molded, high-impact polyethylene to absorb the impact of rocks, gravel and road debris — instead of ricocheting it back at the motorhome. The Guardian can be attached and removed in seconds, and fits all Roadmaster tow bars equipped with quick-disconnects. Note: Direct-connect style baseplates will not accommodate the Guardian.
Your RV's tires pick up gravel and sand that can pelt the front of your towed vehicle mile after mile. Over time, your vehicle's finish can be significantly damaged. Worse yet, a stray rock can break one of your headlights or your windshield. These are all costly to repair or replace.
Once you've reached your destination, pull two pins to remove the Guardian. Its wings can be folded up for easy storage. The high impact, polyethylene shell is extremely tough, making the product durable and long lasting.
If you tow more than one vehicle, the Second Vehicle Kit has all the mounting hardware necessary to swap the Guardian from one vehicle to another.
The Guardian Rock Shield can also be used with a tow dolly by using the Tow Dolly Guardian Carrier.
The 4000 Guardian includes the shield, mounting hardware and installation instructions. Features include:

The Guardian is designed to attach to Roadmaster tow bars with crossbar-style baseplates. It will not fit Roadmaster tow bars with direct-connect baseplates. If you have a direct connect, then use the 4750 Tow Defender instead. The 4750 will also work with Blue Ox and Demco tow bars.
Note: Direct-connect style baseplates will not accommodate the Guardian.
For maximum protection, use a combination of the Guardian and Tow Defender. Your RV kicks up rocks, but so does oncoming traffic. Use a Guardian AND a Tow Defender if you are traveling through Alaska, Mexico or remote areas of Canada. This duo protects your vehicle’s finish, headlights and windshield against damage coming from BOTH lanes.
