Bright red LEDs replace incandescent bulbs

These LED bulbs fit an 1157 socket and are designed to replace 1157 bulbs. The 1157 is the standard incandescent taillight bulb used in the automotive industry.

LEDs have significant safety and appearance advantages over incandescent bulbs. LEDs are brighter, activate faster and have a significantly longer lifespan than incandescent bulbs. In addition, they generate almost no heat and consume much less power. The LEDs lower amperage requirements result in vastly brighter taillights when compared to incandescent bulbs.

The 152-50 consists of two LED bulbs that illuminate red. This is important. White LEDs behind a red lens result in pink colored taillights. Roadmaster specifically uses a bright red LED resulting in highly visible red taillights. Roadmaster also offers a two pack of red LED bulbs with sockets, part number 152-2.

Note: The LED bulb protrudes 1-7/8" from the surface of the mounting hole. Make certain your taillight has sufficient depth to accommodate these bulbs.
