Product Description
Quick Foot simplifies trailer hookup and disconnect.
It's a familiar situation — you've arrived at your campsite and it's time to disconnect the trailer from the ball. But raising the tongue jack high enough to clear the hitch ball takes forever. Whether you have to manually crank or use a electric tongue jack, the gearing simply takes a long time to raise the trailer sufficiently to disconnect.
Roadmaster's speedy tongue jack extension solves this problem by quickly extending the length of the tongue jack by up to 6 inches. To do so, simply unpin the jack stand, and re-pin it at the lowered height. If you don't need a full 6" of extension, the jack stand has multiple pin holes for quick and easy adjustment to the extension you need. Now the jack only has to crank that last inch or less, saving time and your arm (if you are manually cranking the jack).
The jack stand has a large, round base so that the tongue jack doesn't sink into the ground. And when you are ready to tear down camp, reverse the procedure to collapse the jack stand back inside the tongue jack, thereby saving the time and effort of having to fully raise the tongue jack.
Quick Foot is…
- • …always right where you need it — Quick Foot slides up the tongue jack for easy storage.
• …adjustable — extends two, four or six inches.
• …tough — Quick Foot is constructed entirely of steel, with corrosion-resistant zinc plating.
• …stable — a seven-inch diameter footplate provides maximum stability and resists "sinking in."
• …strong — with a 5,000-lb. tongue rating, the Quick Foot is able to be used on any production travel trailer.
• …a 'no-brainer' improvement over wooden blocks — wooden blocks are an accident waiting to happen, and the insects hiding in them can be an ecological disaster. Many states prohibit the transportation of wood (and the invasive species in them) across their borders for just that reason.
Fits virtually all tongue jacks with a 2" diameter lower tube.
